To say that this group was disappointing is an understatement ! Rose Young recently packed our belongings into a shipping container for an interstate move -however, during the unpacking process at the other end, there were numerous items damaged or broken. Some of the issues were .... many items not bubble wrapped ( after paying extra for this !), valuable/ items placed at random within the container, dining table packed upright with heavy items placed on top resulting in all the legs snapping off, LED TV unit scratched and gouged, expensive leather Chesterfield lounge suite damaged ( it had coverings placed on it by us which were removed by these guys ! ) and the list goes on and on! Even the removalists who helped at the destination commented on how bad the packing was. When contacted and the damage reported, I was promised time after time a response re an insurance claim but after 4 weeks of me chasing them, I lost my temper. After sending numerous emails and all of the pictures of the damage, Rose Young have not shown any reports or correspondence from their insurance company to show that this claim is not valid. I am not even sure that they submitted our claim or any of the pictures in the first place. I would never recommend using this group again - even the contact numbers on the website do not work and there is no information on their insurance provider or how to make a claim etc etc. I am now trying to replace or repair the items and it is a costly exercise - if I could afford it, I would take this group to court to recover some of this cost. Please do not use this company
