The Royal used to have the kitchen leased by an Italian family of chefs. the menu ranged from amazing home-made pizza, pastas and traditional pub fare. Now days they have gone upscale and lost my trade. A menu of 6 mains such as duck a la orange isnt my idea of "pub food"

Approximate cost: $30

Nice, clean and somewhat classy looking venue inside of a refurbished old local corner pub. Great bar and meeting place for drinks although if you want a meal the prices did not look cheap. Have had drinks here only so cannot comment on food but it did look good on the plates I saw carried by the staff.

The Royal Hotel is quite a pleasant place to go for a drink, it's got a very nice size bar that runs in an L shape so that staff can see you from across the room if your thirsty. The two pool tables are in good repair and are enjoyable to play on. Fat Yack is served on tap and tastes fantastic. Meals are a little on the expensive side but the place is always packed, so there must be others that can see what i cant. Just a very relaxed, enjoyable place to go for a drink.
