Ruby's Room is located on the ground floor of an old stone building in Macquarie Street. It has many small windows each with a colourful display which catch your eye as you travel down the street and entice you in. Open the wooden door, wander inside and feel like a child again! There are so many beautiful and colourful toys and decor in this shop, particularly of the wooden variety. On my first trip I discovered the perfect wall stickers for a child's room - the shop assistant was very helpful in showing me a catalogue and arranging to order in exactly what I wanted. I have found lovely presents for both girls and boys. Probably one of the best stocked shops in Tasmania. Prices are on the higher side, but you are paying for quality and often items you would not find elsewhere in Hobart.
