We arrived at the Nobby pub yesterday afternoon with mine and a friends Assistance Dogs as booked. On entering the pub I was told no dogs allowed. I told the barman that Cali was an Assistance Dog and I had her registration which I offered to show him. He refused to look at the registration ID. The barman then told me the owner would not allow dogs in the rooms. I asked to see the owner (Gayle). When I told her about Cali being my Assistance Dog and tried to show her the registration ID she refused to look at it and said, "I have seen then before and I refused them entry also". I reminded Gayle of the law regarding Assistance Dog and also told her that she was discriminatory and she told me to leave. Our party of six requested a refund and rode to Clifton where we were welcomed dogs and all by Mandy and the staff of O'Shanley Irish Pub. A great night was had by all. Thank you Mandy and staff.

Went for dinner last night & was discussed in how we were treated. The bar staff were a abusive & some of there comments were down right rude. One customer got told go to TAB to do there keno . Took over 1/2 just to order meals then & further 2 hrs to get the meals some were even cold. It is su h ashame that this pub is getting so bad that you won't even go back again. It use to be a great place for meals & the staff where always so polite to you. The owners should hang there heads in shame for wrecking such a good pub in previous years.

We a fantastic and relaxing lunch at the historical Rudd's pub in Nobby. The menu was extensive and the meals were huge. There was a bit of a wait for the meals however the time was easily spent sipping a cold beer in the typical ozi beer garden or reading stories about Steel Rudd and the history of the area which was displayed, along with artifacts, on the walls. Overall a very relaxing and value for money.

This great old bush pub is so full of history and heritage.. Even if they ran out of beer you could keep your self entertained for hours discovering all the articles and items on the wall. The main theme is Dad and Dave a series of stories by author Steele Rudd. You will also find tributes to Sister Elizabeth Kenny who has a long story of her own...a pioneer in the treatment of children with Polio.
The popularity of this pub is amazing So if you are wanting to visit on a weekend or public holiday, I advise you to book...
I like to take my visitors here on a quiet week day for lunch.. I have never been able to finish my meal beacuse of the overwhelming size.. It's so good..Steak here is the best is is sourced very localy and you can tell.. Salads are always generous.. All round good food good surrounds and reasonal value..

Approximate cost: $20
