Went there for dinner Friday night & I found the drinks were way over priced for Tavern & the food was mediocre - my meal was delivered wrong & then we we asked for what I ordered the Rib Eye Fillet it was rare in the middle when I asked for medium & the garlic mash was like glue - salad bar a good idea but could do with a re vamp & more attention paid to it no one wants to eat whats been picked over for three hours

my friends took me here for dinner one night & I liked it so much I returned a few days later with a friend to try their lunch specials!
the 1st night I had their lamb korma curry [14.95!] with no rice but sweet potato chips (my Aussie friend was shocked that I, an Asian, refused rice!) . Absolute Winning choice!!

All meals came with choice of salad bar which had a good range of fruit, vege in salad, raw & roasted form. a friend commented of the respect he had for the bread roll he got, thinking it may have been as old as he was! ;P
Also choice of chips / potato mash/ sweet potato chips to go with meals.
Next time I tried their pan seared barramundi for $18.95 ... (I forgot to order with the sweet potato chips, so it came with potato mash, which they did very nicely!)
Service was friendly, kind, Genine was lovely & chatty.
Atmosphere was nice, not super noisy even though we stayed & chatted well through the lunch hour ... our meals came with a coin voucher we could use in their gaming section which felt like a cheap way to have us lose more money! ;P

Not a bad place to eat meals are a good size and quite tasty, kids room average, good salad bar selection and hot food selection prices are quite reasonable and fair

It used to be really good here, very good value for money, great food, great customer service BUT the last few times I've been here over the last year it has been going down hill. The pricing has gone up & they have made the deals worse. It used to be $15 for a meal including salad bar, free drink + $3 voucher to play on the pokies. Now all that has stopped. The last time I went there it was $15+ for the basic meals, $3 extra for the salad meal and you buy your own drink. Doesn't seem very good value anymore.

After the Runcorn Tavern was revamped a few years back, we've been there on a number of occasions. The serving sizes are large and the steak is great quality. Always a good atmosphere and very family-friendly. Attractive place to have a night out.

This is a beautifulky established small pub to suit the comfort of mst peoples needs. I attend at least once a week. Every Wednesday they have a peoples draw if yu register and use their reward card and you can win up to $5000. There are great pokie facilities and an excellent resturant along with a bar menu. Go along and have a treat of a time.

I've been going there for years and it doesn't get any better than a rib fillet with a garlic prawn topper. You never go away hungry, great weeknight specials and a great kids menu that has food healthier than nuggets and chips

When ordering a main meal, you also get free access to the salad bar. We arrived for a late dinner, and most of the food in the salad bar was gone, and being around 8.30pm they didn't top it up. So best to arrive for an early dinner. Overall experience was pleasant.

The meal was tasty and the salad bar was a great addition and was fresh and full. Would definitely go back.
