Really yummy big breakfast. Generous portions, eggs were delicious, fresh avocado and potato Rosti. Very satisfying. Coffee is good too and service is friendly. Very close to north Brighton station
Coffee is good. Don't go there on Saturday morning when some kind of gym/Pilates group are there. AMAZINGLY noisy, which is not what you want for breakfast. Reminded me of Friday lunchtime at the Waiters Club in Melbourne CBD. One guy in particular was running around yelling and wildly gesticulating. Not a tranquil brekkie setting. Avoid if you want peaceful a.m. dining.
Approximate cost: $30
This was a hidden gem, I was there to meet someone and had a top coffee and the porridge with all the toppings was a perfect start to a long day.
Really really good food.
Seasonal. Local focus. Gourmet & wholefoods used.
They also happen to the sister cafe of Omar and the Marvellous Coffee Bird, which may give you an idea of what it is like.
I love how the traditional brunch favourites are re-invented with a wholefood focus. Ie. Quinoa patties (3) with a poached egg, smoked salmon, annd lightly steamed asparagus.
Beautiful on the plate, delicious and full of nutrients
