I think this is the only pizza shop in Rutherglen, so you have to go here if you want pizza. Having said that, it's not bad really. Just not great. A very basic shopfront with counter and pizza oven at back. You can see the guy spreading the dough on the tin plates just a few feet away - no glass wall or separate area - don't know if that's a good thing or not.
Basic pizza menu available as well as lasagne and coffee. We had a Tropical with ham and pineapple and a capricciosa on which we asked for anchovies but hardly got any. There was also one called "Hot and Sweet" which piqued my imagination.
Pizza was soggy in the middle, so a little undercooked and was very salty, which I think was caused by them using tasty cheese and not the traditional mozzarella. But it was hot and filling and we ate it without complaint.
There are tables and chairs to eat in and a very large TV screen to keep you amused as well as drink fridge and icecream freezer. There is NO eftpos here. Staff were quite friendly and invited us to eat in when we changed our minds from taking away on a cold night and offered cutlery if we wanted. It seemed quite a busy place.
Large pizzas were $14, there was a small size but no medium and one bigger than large.
Approximate cost: $14
