This place has truly amazing food. My partner and I there went there for dinner and a great time. Whilst not extensive the menu has food that appeals to different people and all the dishes we tried were great. The presentation was exceptional. The staff were friendly and professional. Lovely atmosphere as well

I don't give a score like this lightly - and if there were six stars for each category, they'd push for this also. Simply a great experience on Tuesday night, even though it was only us and one other lady in the restaurant. Marvin was an exceptional host, explaining everything - the origins of the food, the slight differences between Lebanese, Turkish and Greek meals that made up the Banquet (which is highly recommended). It is the fact that the food didn't need extravagant sauces or cream to be brilliant - there was flavour within the meat, the starters and the desserts. Hard to explain - certainly a unique (and great) experience for us - a satisfying experience.

We went to this restaurant on a cold Saturday night after a movie and found it packed. Luckily we'd booked a table, but the menu had been shortened given we were there for an 8.30pm sitting. The service was slow but the food was plentiful and delicious. It will be a good place to eat in summer.

The quality of food provided at Saffron is unparalleled. From the array of beautifully cooked fish to their perfectly seasoned lamb, the food at Saffron promises not to disappoint. The experience provided at Saffron is unlike any other in Canberra and for that it must be visited. All meals should be started with their array of dips and breads, which provide the perfect start to an amazing meal.

The service staff are friendly and chatty and have a great knowledge of the menu.

Meals range near the $30 mark, but can undeniably be said to be money well spent.

Saffron must be experienced to be believed

Wanted to try a traditional Middle Eastern Mezze, and headed to Saffron in Manuka. he staff were very helpful and explained all the food to us. I very much enjoyed my first Mezze and recomend it to anybody who hasn't tried it yet.
