Not too many places open in the city at night. Was surprised by the fresh and tasty food. Stacks of people coming in so it's obviously is a fave of many.

Top tasting Chinese. Eat in or take away ( we normally eat in ). Incredibly cheap for the quality and always happy to return to this place.

This is one of my favorite restaurant in hobart ,the prices here are reasonable or i should say cheap for the amount and the quality of the dishes they serve.their sushi and special fried rice are my favourite :)

Sakura is my definite go-to for my Asian fix! Really friendly staff and great overall energy - they like what they are doing!
My current fave is the Singapore noodle dish - packed full of goodness in every bite! You can even share it so you can get another dish to share. Really good value for your money!

Since moving from Hobart to Melbourne I deeply miss Sakura. Having been a customer from when they first opened in Sandy Bay I can safely say there is no better sushi restaurant in Hobart, perhaps even in Melbourne (especially for the price!). The food is always completely fresh and they'll even customize your sushi orders if you ask! Very friendly staff, the guy who makes the sushi is adorable!!

Serves Chinese as well as Japanese food, the char siu noodles soup is really nice, and quite like the chicken laksa as well. Reasonably priced, and friendly staff, service is always good.
