I went here for lunch with my husband on a busy Saturday recently. We wanted something quick, so we ordered two foccacia's a chicken and sundried tomato one and a vegetarian with pesto and fetta, as these were listed under the ready made items on the menu which just come out of the display window. Unfortunately it still took quite a while to come out, and it wasn't very presentable looking as it was served on a bed of quite wilted and dead looking greens. It tasted alright however. They were clearly understaffed with two visible staff on to take orders at the counter and also bring the food to the tables and they looked quite overwhelmed. There were jugs of drinking water for customers to help themselves to but I had to ask several times for them to be refilled as they were empty and it was a very hot day and there were also no glasses out. I was told they would bring some to my table but they never arrived so I went hunting and had to grab some clean glasses when I saw staff put them down on another table! Everything seemed so disorganised that we weren't game to try to order a drink as we thought it would never come so we left quickly to buy drinks elsewhere. The only positive about our visit was the convenient location of the cafe within the grounds of the park so parents can watch the kids play.

We went here for a light lunch after having a look around the new big playground. They have a light meals menu and lots of yummy cakes and desserts, coffees and drinks.
Nice atmosphere on a sunny day over-looking the playground on one side, the lake on the other.
Prices are a little on the dear side, but worth it I think.
