This restaurant was recommended by a friend and they were absolutely spot on.
One of the best sea food plate i have ever tasted.

We had afternoon tea at this cafe recently, we ordered coffee and cake, the cakes we ordered were really nice and fresh.

Both girls had cheese toasties, not sure what ended up in the toasties, there was this black substance, we thought it was vegemite, but we did not order vegemite.

We asked for another fresh cheese toastie, which they did make but we were not told what the black substance was.

The coffee was great, staff were nice and friendly.

I visited Saltwater Café yesterday and it was a disappointment. At first I was excited because of the 15% discount you get for ordering take-away instead of eating in. The ladies working there seem really nice, but that is the only positive thing I have to say. My mood quickly changed when I reached the park to eat my take-away and realised half the items I ordered did not make it into the package. I paid for items that I did not receive. It was too much trouble to get back and busy, so I just left it. Also, when I ordered I requested extra lemon for my fish, I got zero lemon wedges and no cutlery on top. The food was average. Overall I was pretty disappointed and will not be buying from this shop again.

This is an excellent fish and chip shop that I highly recommend but JAWS just next door is slightly better and slightly cheaper! The quality of the fish and other food is of excellent quality. Service can be slow if it's busy but everything is quality, quantity and fresh.

What at first looked like another seaside takeaway shop quickly turned into an experience to rave about. While the food takes a little time the reason is obvious - all the food is cooked to order with the exception if the chowders and salads and soups. Wonderful place and the staff are very friendly

W first visited this cafe 12 months ago and were not too impressed. On our return recently we were surprised to find that the food had improved and it is now on on our list again. Maybe it was an off day 12 months ago
