Took our greyhound to Sandown for a dental and multiple extractions and cannot speak highly enough of the staff and care he received. He recovered much quicker and more comfortably than when he has had previous extractions at our local vet. Well worth travelling the distance to Sandown as you can ensure the best possible care and treatment for your greyhound. The cost was less than half that of what was quoted at our local vet. Thank you to the amazing staff, our boy is much happier now! Brilliant vet clinic.

Walked out after waiting 45 mins, for what would have been a 5 min consultation. The problem with this practice is that it is a specialist greyhound vet, and although they do have a domestic pet clinic, it clearly takes second place. Would go elsewhere.

Its been approx 15 months since my kitten broke his leg, I was facing a bill over $5000 at an emergency vet but these guys were able to take xrays operate and bring my kitten back to normal for an affordable cost, I was even contimplating putting down my kitten as I could not afford treatment, these guys looked after my cat during and after his treatment to help my lil fur baby get back on track. Thank you

It will be a year on the 31st of March 2009 since we attended the clinic with our Rottweiler that had passed away only I week after seeing their vet and being told that there was nothing wrong with her. The nurse Kathy was extremely rude and abrupt. My son was extremely upset and instead of a little understanding was told that dogs die all the time and to get over it. We had to carry her in the bottom of her kennel as that was where she died. Kathy said ( even before we could take her out of the back of the Ute) " you can't leave this here " after some very heated words we took her to Noble Park Veterinary Clinic where we found the staff and everyone concerned to be extremely helpful and understanding. If you love your pet Sandown Animal Hospital is NOT the place to go.

lovely friendly and helpful staff, very reasonable prices, have a repuation as being one of the cheapest clinics around but with exceptional service. Knowledgable with sports medicine because the vets deal with Greyhounds racing & retired as well as cats & dogs, they have a high reputation with their breeding programs too
