Our dog Stella benefited so much from her training with Sankiri. Lorraine and the team helped her become a calmer and more obedient dog with the help of the training methods and the relaxed atmosphere.

Highly recommend! Lorraine and her team are experts and take the time to assess each individual dog and give the owners tools to correct undesirable behaviours. The training methods are humane and very effective. As the owner of a very large GSD I can attest to the effectiveness of training for my rescue pup. He loves coming to class and thanks to Lorraine walks are now fun and enjoyable! No more pulling, running off or lunging at the other dogs! Thank you Lorraine!!

Recently adopted a 20kg boisterous male staffy. Day 1 I was in tears because I couldn't open a door without him barraging into my shins let alone hold my arms down with him playfully (yet painfully) biting them and constantly jumping on everyone. After 1 session with Lorraine and Sankiri I had him sitting and staying long enough to open a door and actually respond to his name. 6 months down the road he sits, drops, stands on command all for extended periods of times (even around food & other dogs playing), heels off lead, he's stopped jumping and biting (even playfully) and simply just listens and responds. I honestly can't believe the transformation. We now have a beautiful, loving, still a little cheeky but mostly well behaved boy. Can't thank Lorraine enough!

I have now trained 3 dogs the 'Sankiri' way with Lorraine and couldn't have asked for a better method of training. Positive re-inforcement is always best! My 2 current dogs are well trained quiet loving dogs -- and more importantly BOTH my dogs are Qualified 'Delta Therapy Dogs' meaning they have passed the behaviour temperament and training exams to be servicing patients & staff in hospitals & similar to help the patients with their recovery one in the mental health unit the other in children's wards. At no time have I ever had to frighten my dogs to get them to listen & obey me in fact I have never even smacked my dogs. Lorraine is a fully qualified trainer who uses her expertise to assess whatever the problem may be (& it is usually the owner rather than the dog?!) and then gives the owner the strategies to overcome any issues they may have. To suggest that Sankiri is less than professional with their training methods is an insult to those of us who currently use or have used Sankiri in the past. I would ask mucaji 1 to let us know what qualifications he/she has to judge others!! I would like to also add that I personally know of 4 highly qualified & well renowned veterinarians who suggest Sankiri to their own clients. This certainly wouldn't happen if the training used by Sankiri could injure the dogs!!!!

Sorry but it really annoys me when people post comments about something they have no idea about, I met lorriane from Sankiri dog training 6 years ago, when i had many issues with my lab,my lab was very dominate,you could not pat or cuddle her without her pulling back, she would bark at you and nip you, I tried a different training place but got no where, Lorriane made it so easy, and was a huge help, after 2 classes I could walk my dog with out my shoulder and arm feeling like it wasnt going to be pulled out of its socket. I now have a beautiful well behaved dog who loves pats and big cuddles..4 years ago i got a mastiff x who suffers from anxiety, it was suggested by the vets that I should put him on medication, but for me that was the last resort, I phoned Sankiri and asked Lorriane if she would be able to help, and help she has, with lots of positive training methods we are doing great. I would highly recommend Sankiri Dog Training!!

I have a border collie Cassie, 2 yrs in late Sep 2014, She had become more than a hand full, then after being told the 3 time by another training group that her attention span was poor 15 min at max best to come back when she's older, she was getting the better of me and the other two dogs at home there was friction with them as she grew, challenging them at every opportunity, wouldn't walk with them, then walking her was a battle, yanking and pulling , chocking herself till she was sick, rubbing her nose halter into the ground & concrete path. Thanks to Sankiri, in two lessons she stopped pulling, she was starting to adjust to her nose halter that was supplied that first day training, but mostly, l was shown what l had been doing and why she was reacting, giving her mixed signals confusing her and not being firm enough to state my place in the pecking order. Once my behaviour changed and she didn't have it over me, l saw her response, positive to recall, and all the things required of her. Cassic is so eager to learn, So Thank You, and all their for giving me my beautiful girl back, she is what keeps me positive and active even when my body gives up and the stress wares my down, she gets me through it.

I have bee coming on and off with little rescue dog Toby, who has issues with anxiety, listening, fear and poor socializing. In the past I have attended other training school with my past dogs, but I wished that I knew Lorraine then. Lorraine is magical. She is able to tune in to the dogs and owners. She helps us owners to get in touch with our dogs and their way of thinking. Lorraine is treats us all including the dogs with respect and compassion. She never makes you feel stupid or incapable of training your dog. You can see that she loves her dogs and is very compassion about her work. Time never seems an issue for her, as she always makes time. Lorraine has given me lots of positive advice in regards in getting in touch with Toby to help him face his new stable life. Then today in training she once more spend heaps of time with Toby and myself to help us with the present fear issue. She is great and so tuned in with it all. I highly recommend Lorraine and I am so glad that I am doing her social training session. As I said she is magical and after just today short session Toby is already displaying being a bit more confident in himself. Thank you Lorraine for all your help and support'.

Owning a beagle was never going to be easy, but I never thought it would be this bad!! Milly came to live with us at 3 months but already had issues thanks to her previous owner. Having attended another training school we were left none the wiser, as we were often sent to the "naughty corner" rather than being taught strategies and skills to deal with the behaviour. After 3 years I had all but given up, as Milly's behaviour was deteriorating even further (her big beagle ears were painted on!). I sought the help of Lorraine at Sankiri and have never looked back. She has transformed Milly from a disobedient and aggressive beagle, to a loyal and loving family member. And it's not just us....everybody comments on the change in Milly's behaviour. I have an English Springer Spaniel named Amy and was seeking to have her trained. Lorraine at Sankiri Dog Training answered my telephone query promptly and spent a considerable amount of time explaining which classes would be suitable for Amy. Her structured syllabus was impressive and Lorraine assured me that each owner and their dog receive individual attention. I am enjoying our weekly lessons immensely, gaining more knowledge about dog behaviour, and I have benefited from her guidance. Lorraine has been fantastic in showing me the right way to correct and teach my dog things. He is very much more relaxed now then he was when we first started and has come such a long way. I highly recommend Sankiri as they are really caring and fantastic and help you sort out all sorts of problems you are having with your dog and show you the right way to deal with it and correct it.
