Not good. Not really sure how they survive. One would have thought that an old time lone standing local cafe like Sasa's would have a good formula going.
Unfortunately on my visit, the menu was confused & boring (no real focus, just a big list of contemporary/australian breakfast & lunch items) and execution was fairly poor (my local seafood purveyor could have delivered up better quality & fresher seafood skewers, minus the still bearded mussels).
There must have been a change of ownership recently as what was once one of my favorite locals, has gone downhill. The food did not seem fresh, my wrap was soggy and the high chairs were very dirty. Perhaps they were just having an off day, hopefully they can restore the original standards!
eww nothing puts me off more than a soggy wrap!
this shops is really expensive but i regularly go to there for a coffee and some cake. service is alright.
It was an average experience. The coffee was good at an affordable price but nothing special. There is a small section of cakes at the front which is REALLy EXPENSIVE. An caramel slice for $5. But the place was tidy with windows looking onto the main road
Approximate cost: $5
Lovely cafe that offers great breakfast and lunches. I love the porridge with bananas. It is a big serve and nicely prepared. My partner usually has the pancakes with berries. Last time I was there I tried the eggs and it was served with delicious five grain bread. Will have it again.
Approximate cost: $12
with the variety available it sounds like the perfect brunch place
