We have been visiting Schatzi's for the last 5 years, since we moved up to the Macedon Ranges. The quality of the food has remained consistently excellent. We always find the service very friendly and warm. An added bonus it that it is BYO so you can take your own wine, which saves some money. Book in advance, because it is small and very popular with locals.

Had a great family get together here and it was fabulous. It has quite a small dining space, but they managed to set up a long table for us.

The menu was very varied and had something for the vegans, vegetarians, the gluten intolerant, the kids and the big eaters as well.

Everything from tofu to lamb shanks (these were delicious!)

Highly recommended would return again and try their breakfast next time, looks delish.

Staff are so nice and helpful, family run restaurant that is worth the stop in tiny and cute Woodend.

Took 4 ladies, had a wonderful lunch.Excellent food and service was very friendly.Small and very busy.Lots of chatter made this small restaurant very cosy for lunch. I booked 2 weeks ahead..be warned..can't always just walk in...We will be back for dinner very soon..Yum

wow this place is great to catch up for a coffee or go out to dinner with friendly staff it's a very relaxing environment but you must book to get in
