Schofield's medical centre was first developed in 1978 by Dr Manny Lalji who has been looking after the community for 37 years.
Dr Manny Lalji has grown with the schofield's community looking after generations of families, grandparents, parents, children and grandchildren. Today Dr Manny Lalji is joined by his family who are all united in looking after the health of the schofields community.
Dr Mansukh Lalji graduated from Manchester university in 1975 with a bachelor of medicine and surgery after practicing in the uk He then moved to New Zealand and practiced medicine in auckland. In 1977 dr Lalji moved to australia beginning schofields medical centre in 1978.
Dr lalji has a special interest in adult medicine and geriatrics and looks after several members of the elderly community in schofields and surrounding area aged care and nursing homes.
Dr lalji has always believed in providing all patients with equal access to healthcare starting his home visit and bulk billing service in 1978 and continuing this service to patients for over 38 years.
