The best place to go as a kid for a gigantic playground full of science and full-body interactives. It can also be fun for teens an adults, especially with the planetarium dome and the "adults only" nights held regularly where we don't have to muscle past hordes of ten year olds to have a go on the exhibits! Colourful, professional, and very good value for money. You won't find many comparable experiences any cheaper, and the staff are passionate, intelligent people.

I can't rave enough about this place as it is fantastic for kids (big, small and meant to be grown up). We pay approx $40 for an adult, and $26 for kids over 3 to visit as many times as you like for 12 months. It is open all the year (unlike places like Adventure World), and the kids never get bored as they discover new things to touch and do every visit. Fantastic value for money. Parking is free, but make sure you get a ticket from reception or you will get a fine of $150 or so.

A museum where you're not scared the kids will break something. They'll be entertained and learn something at the same time.
