If you are after good seafood at a reasonable price and you're in a hurry, you can't go past Seashells at Doncaster.

They often have a special on for about $10 you can get a piece of fish, some chips and a salad. The range of fish is generally limited to three or four types (not as wide as your regular fish and chip shop) and they do have scallops, seafood sticks, fried dim sims (home made style), potato cakes, chips etc. I found the fish to be good and had been well drained so that there was not a lot of oil. The chips were also quite oil free and crispy. The range of salads - there were five on offer is also good and I settled for a mix of coleslaw and a Greek salad. I did find the scallops small in size, but not any smaller than you would find at most fish and chip shops - around the size of a 20c coin. Overall a good experience at a reasonable price.
