Doctors are great if you can get past the secretary who thinks she is god, absolute pain in the neck dealing with the front desk, happily all that changes with the doctors

Have spent 2 weeks trying to get the doctor to sign a form required for surgery.
The receptionist made the process complicated and difficult while claiming that I as the layman / patient provided incorrect information. Information I had been instructed to provide by other medical consultants.
I will not be using Secret Harbour Family Medical for my needs in future.
Definitely unhelpful uncaring handling of my medical requirements. Horrible being the best description and rating through this experience

I'm really impressed at how quickly you can see a doctor at the centre. I really enjoy the ladies on the front counter, they are most helpful, bubbly and efficient. I never have to wait long once I've arrived for my appointment, this is great if you have children.

Got a appointment on the same day with Dr Pinsky after reading WOMOW reviews. My skin is getting better and he was kind.
Reception was good. Instant medicare refund into your saving account if you pay by saving account.

Since putting on more Doctors, same day appointments are easier to get. They also do Hicaps, which means no more queues at the Medicare office. The Pathology nurses are lovely and great with children (flu vaccs etc). I foudn the charges to be comparable with other GP's in the area and they bulk bill for children under 16.

I rang up at 9am in the morning as I needed a doctor to examine my current condition.. eg - flu.
The lady on the phone said no spots available for today as they go so early.
"You should have called earlier or yesterday". This comment wasn't nessecary due to being sick on that day and having a sleep in and unable to call before 9am.

Approximate cost: $40.00

Went in there to have a chat about a bad knee that was giving me trouble. Dr Farrier was very helpful and explained what could be wrong. He's always up for a laugh and makes me not embarrassed or weird about any problem i have.

Normally able to get same day appointment with your preferred Doctor, if unavailable there are approx 4 doctors in the surgery. On site Pathology with great nurses. They provide medicare refund direct to your cheque or savings account which is great, no more queues in medicare
