Sew Fix Sewing Machine Repairs

i used sew fix to service my janome overlocker, non genuine parts were used, and i wasnt contacted to ask if i wanted parts replaced, was over charged, and still waiting for refund.
the upper cutting blade was replaced with a blade for a later model.

I used Sew Fix 1.5 months ago for an oil leak in our overlocker sewing machine. They provided me with a 3 month warranty on their work, however after a little while I noticed the leak wasn’t fixed. I contacted Sew Fix and they promised to come by the next day to inspect the oil leak. They never showed up and never called me. I tried to get a hold of them over the next two weeks leaving him multiple voice mails. I finally called from a private number and the service technician who I was dealing with picked up. I asked him why he was ignoring my phone calls and why he had not showed up for our scheduled appointment and he just rudely hung up. I have never experienced such poor customer service in my life. I would not recommend a business that treats it’s customers so poorly and has such low quality workmanship.

I do NOT recommend Sewfix Sewing Machine repairs business. My Bernina machine was collected in August to service and repair a jam. Otherwise, it was fine. In December, nearly 4 months later, after multiple calls by me requesting its return fixed or not, visits to the business by my husband and advice from the police, we sent a letter to the business saying return the machine by a fixed date. It was returned at last and we took it to a Bernina dealer who said the main board had been broken along with the connectors. The cost would be at least $700 to repair. The machine had been with the business for 4 months! We will be taking it to the small claims tribunal in the new year.

I have used Sew Fix Sewing Machine Repairs for a few years now and have found Mark always expert, reliable and reasonably priced. Great to have a good repair person.

I had my very old Singer machine repaired by Mark. He came and looked at my machine at my home (at no cost) told me what was wrong and how much it would be. He fixed my machine and delivered it back to my home (at no cost) and even put in a better needle. He came when he said he would and all for $99! Very happy with the repairs and the prompt service.
