Shalom is a very unique school that specializes in education for Indigenous students. I have seen Shalom have great success in being able to bring out the best in very quiet and shy students. I also really like how supportive their school is towards the students and go far beyond what a normal school provides. I have seen the school provide ongoing support for students even after graduation through a year 13 program that they run and help them transition into work and further study. They also have very good sporting programs for both boys and girls with teams playing touch football, soccer and afl and rugby league in local competitions. I highly recommend for students wishing further support in the local area.
