Wow. Good pizza, that is not at all like the typical high st polar pizza place....
Shawcross takes an American approach to the art of pizza. Shawcross bases are thin, the ingredients sparse yet high quality, all glued down by a a layer of glistening cheese. Folding the large slices in half is highly recommended.
A favourite, is the the Triple Cheese pizza. It is actually a ‘starter’ option but arrives as a 12″. A heart-stopping smothering of mozzarella, baked brie, goats cheese, topped with modest parsley makes this pizza a classic hangover cure. The crusts of Shawcross pizzas are also delightfully chewy and they even offer crust dipping sauces on the side.

Really down to earth pizza eatery which is not ashamed to call itself a pizza joint. Having made that their core focus, the pizzas coming out of their kitchen are fantastic. It's a very NY style pizza joint with lots of meaty american options, and size variations from a single slice right up to a 22inch for those group dinners in.

Went down to Shawcross for dinner, staff were very friendly, i ordered the fat tony pizza, waited about 15 minutes, pizza was delicious. Great range of pizzas and the prices are pretty good too.
