Banquet was beautiful and great value, staff were so friendly. Definitely our new regular Indian restaurant in Geelong!

This restaurant is in the CBD but you won't know as it is so quiet and the few shops there are mostly closed (at 6pm). A typical Indian restaurant (decor, smell & music) but brightly lit with so many "innovative" lights. They change their menu ever so often. How do I know? The dish I looked up their website not many days ago was not on the menu & they confirmed it. But to my delight, they accommodated my order (very flexible indeed). Unfortunately, the Eggplant Beef (HOT) & rice separate did not turn out well. If the eggplant was more & of larger pieces, this dish might well be good. The beef was very generous. The female server was pleasant & enquired about my day spent earlier. Water was provided without asking. The prices could be brought down a notch to entice more customers to eat here.

I reached Shiraaz at 5pm - my first visit & their first customer for dinner that day. Smell of Indian incense lingered. Indian song was switched to English. Service was pleasant. Cold water was served. Chicken Saagwala HOT ($16.00) was pricey & not what I expected. Naan ($3.00) was good - hot & moist.
