Was recommended to try this place. The ramen was really good, chewy noodles and rich broth. Chashu wasn’t too tough and egg was perfectly cooked. Overall lovely experience and price.

So this has been on my list to try for quite a while. Every time we think 'lets go!' its been on a Sunday or Monday (when they aren't open). We managed to get there on a Saturday finally and waited for 10mins to get in. Long lines everywhere. Once we sat down though, we were in the wrong place (Shyun Japanese!). We left and walked further down the road to the ramen bar. This place is cash only though there are abundant ATMS near by. Order is at the counter. Menu is limited. Prices are cheap though. Ramen was great, noodles (one of the best in Melb). There were many reviews about them being 'cold' however it was fine when we went. The only good thing to eat though were the ramen, gyoza was lacking in crunch 'nothing special' and neither were the takoyaki. Guess it is meant to be a 'Ramen Bar'.

Great experience here. It did not feel like I was at a noodle bar in suburban Carnegie, but rather at a smart inner city location. With modern surrounds featured exposed brick and polished wood panels, it is lively space with an open kitchen and a self-service ordering system. The ramen bowls were fantastic, with a lot of flavour and complexity in the broth and generous on the toppings.
What really amazed me however, were the Takoyaki balls. Complete with bonito flakes, these were immensely satisfying with its crisp exterior and lovely creamy texture inside and real octopus tentacle inside.
