we went her for Dinner, and it was enjoyable meal... I knew this place years ago and it seems the same as it was years ago...
the price was reasonable.

Silom Thai has been my favourite restaurant for years but unfortunately, I had a terrible experience last night. I ordered food online to be delivered and when I began eating it I found hair in my main meal.

I called up the restaurant to let them know. I could hear shouting in the background along the lines of 'It's probably her hair.' before I was told it was most likely a coriander root. Coriander roots are not black. They then offered to make the meal again which I declined and requested a refund.

As I paid in cash, the delivery man came back to refund me. I was surprised when I was only given back the costs for my main. I was still charged for delivery and the plain rice that I didn't eat.

Never again.

My mate took me here during the week for dinner and lets just say i wasn't too impressed. The food was pretty average and took quite a while too come out even though there was only 2 others tables. The only thing that made up for this was the great staff they just made everything ok and were down for a laugh.

Met with friends at this restaurant on a Saturday night. We were the only ones in the place at 7.30, that should have been an indicator right there! Service was good as we were the only ones there so no other tables to wait on. Myself and partner ordered a vegetarian masaman, which is our usual dish of choice when ordering at a Thai restaurant. My friends ordered curries (their usual Thai dishes they order when we go out). Food was awful to say the least. The masaman looked like a thick brown stew and was very salty, the rice was like glue, really soggy and stuck together. (that was a sign too). My friends couldn't eat theirs either due to it being too spicey although they asked for mild. One of my friends will eat anything, he eats peoples left over's so he isn't too fussy...EVEN HE DIDNT EAT THIS MESS! I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. My friend got an IBS attack right in the restaurant after eating some of the masaman, it was really a bad situation. No lock on the toilet door, although the toilets were clean. 2 of us got sick within the next couple of days. This restaurant used to be on Chapel St I believe and was much better than this this when it was there.
