Kristin was our main contact, and she guided us through the process with sympathy and concern. We are truly grateful for Ada, Michael and Kristin and the outstanding service that they provided.

I want to sincerely thank all of you for the care, compassion, and support you’ve shown throughout this process. I’ve never had to arrange something like this before, and doing so while caring for my mum and being a single parent was incredibly overwhelming. But from the first meeting with Michael, and then with Kristin, I knew I’d made the right decision in coming to you.

It was the little things that meant the most — Michael’s warmth and sense of humour, which brought some much-needed lightness, and Kristin quietly going above and beyond when she overheard I was searching for an Irish flag, already finding two for me on Facebook Marketplace before I’d even had the chance to ask.

I truly can’t thank you enough. You helped my family and me get through one of the hardest days a child can face — saying goodbye to a parent — with dignity, compassion, and care. Both Michael and Ada performed the funeral for my mother 4 years ago and again in November for my husband. I was grateful for their thoughtfulness and professionalism in both cases.

Ada and Michael at Silver Dove have made the whole process as straightforward and achievable as possible at a time that can otherwise be quite overwhelming. I can't recommend them highly enough. Such genuine professionalism. sincerity and compassion are rare. They are always accommodating and give very honest advice but with no pressure. We couldn't have asked for a better experience in spite of the circumstances.

At a time of enormous family distress, Ada and Michael helped us navigate a very sad and anxious time. We would recommend them whole heartedly to those experiencing the raw, painful process of farewelling a loved one. It is never easy saying goodbye to a loved one. My mum passed recently at 98 after a long illness. I cannot express my sincere thanks to Aida and Michael. They were so kind and gentle with me and gave my mother incredible respect for her final journey. It made mums passing easier knowing she was in the hands of people who really care.
When I pre arranged mums funeral mum had expressed her wish for a simple cremation with no service. When I expressed this to Aida she completely understood. There was no judgement. No pushing for a more expensive funeral. Honesty and integrity is the cornerstone of their business.
