Late with no warning - 2-4pm timeframe, arrived at 6pm.

Asked to me to pay for 2.5 hours worth when we were 1hr 50 into the job.

4 items remained in the truck.

After advising I didn't believe there was 40 minutes of work left and that I wanted I speak to the management to sort it out I was passed to someone who literally didn't care at all and noted if I didn't pay they would not unload my stuff.

Ended up settling at 2hr15 worth in total.

They worked for an additional 10 minutes and left. All up the work would have taken 2 hours bar the argument at the end.

After being told to essentially take it or not , I was inevitably right in that it took them no time to finish and the money they held my items ransom for was incorrectly quoted.

No means of refunding me for the "by the minute" fees they promise on their site.

Disgusting.

I was scheduled for a 2.00 pm start and they arrrived 45 mins late. I asked for 2 men and 10 tonne truck, they arrived with 3 men and a four tonne truck. I worked with them as they seemed tired and one complained of a sore back. I was dissapointed when it came time to pay as they said the removal starts when they leave the depot. Forced to pay for 3 men and $222 + GST per hour. The third guy was on his first day and broke a flyscreen door and dropped a box of vases. I have been trying to get an invoice from them but now nobody answers the phone - I think they are out of business!
They got the job done but I wouldnt recommend as my mattress and lounge are now filthy because they dragged across the dirty floor of the truck. I have been trying to get an invoice from them but now nobody answers the phone - I think they are out of business. Be careful

As many of the reviews before me, if I could give this place negative stars I would. To the reader, literally hire any other mover(even your next door neighbour) than these guys. This company is absolutely unprofessional and should be dissolved as an organisation.

I was supposed to move into an apartment in Carnegie, and hence the service elevator had to be booked for 2 hours 2-4pm. After communicating this crystal clearly to the movers, they called at 2pm to say they were coming at 6. I was angry but I understand this sometimes occurs in business, reschdule everything including the service elevator, end of lease cleaning for current apartment etc. And again make it crystal clear the elevator is only available for 2-4pm.

Again the movers call at 1:30pm to tell they can only start at 4:30pm.

Most important thing to note, zero accountability that they made mistake. From the sales agent (Debbie) to the operations manager started accusing me for not reading the fine print for something completely irrelevant.

I immediately cancelled, asked for a refund of the deposit and found another mover.

PLEASE DO NOT HIRE THESE MOVERS. I will be reporting them to ACCC

I would like to say that was the worst service i could have possibly received from a removal company, and heres why:

>The van arrived 22 hours late.
>No updates were given to advise that the truck would be late until I called after my scheduled time.
>My furniture and walls were damaged because no care was taken when moving the furniture.
>The workers were sleazy. I do not appreciate being asked several times by strange men, if I live alone or if I am married.
>I also do not appreciate being asked if I bought the house and how much I have paid for it.
>I was overcharged and given no receipt despite asking several times.
>Complaints raised to the office are ignored.

Anything But Simple!
The lady over the phone for booking was great, seemed to be really helpful and chatty. When the movers arrived they were slow and one man out of the two did most of the work while the other sat in the cab or was just standing overseeing. My partner did more work to unload the truck than one of the workers. Supposed to be paid by the minute past the initial 2 hours but tried to charge me 45 minutes before they planned on finishing, mind you there were only 4 items left in the truck. The man stood there for 20 minutes demanding payment. I said to him I was happy to pay for the time they worked but I am not paying for more. He slowed down his work to try and elapse the time. Definitely would not recommend!

I booked this service over the phone and thought I was booking with another company (Simply Move). After seeing the deposit confirmation I checked the company name and did panic when I saw these reviews, however, overall we had a pretty good experience. The pick up time was shifted due to an issue the night before, but we were kept in the loop and they ended up arriving earlier than expected. We only had four items to move (fridge, mattress, bed-frame and a large bookshelf), we had the van packed up in 15 mins, movers followed us to the new place, unpacked within 15 mins again. Everything was handled well with no damage and was a very smooth process.

A couple of things:
- Removalists didn't come with masks (interesting choice given the COVID situation at the moment)
- They mentioned they sometimes work all day until 1am which seems bad from an employee and customer perspective unless you're keen on moving furniture in the small hours.

We protected our items with bubble wrap etc and had everything organised before they arrived and I'd say they aren't a bad choice if you're looking for help moving a few of big things and don't want to do it yourself.

I wish I could give 0 review if I can.Think before anyone hire this moving company, had a worst experience ever with this company service, removalist made damages, not professional at all and also took 7 hours just to move few prepacked items with in 650 meters distance. I never had such a bad experience ever in Australia. This company did not care about my concerns which I have raised few times in email. Never ever use this company. Even I said I will complaint to consumer court or legally this matter even Simpky moving team replied I can go ahead and do which means they never care about customer pain and also not willing to resolve issues.

I booked a move with this company - 3 men and a 10 Tonne truck at 2-4pm. Only 2 men turned up at 1pm and wanted to do the move. We were not ready and felt pressured to complete the move then. The manager I spoke to was extremely rude. The company said the men would come back in the afternoon but nobody turned up the entire day or night. We had to unpack our things again and sleep on the floor. We have three children so this was extremely inconvenient. Both of the numbers I had for the company went straight to voicemail and there was zero communication. This company has terrible business practices and doesn't deliver what it promises.

I am still waiting for my $100 deposit to be returned a week later! Absolute crooks. I have reported them to the ACC and recommend others do the same. Companies like this don't deserve to be in business.

Everyone here has got the right idea. 1 star is way too generous. I booked for 12 o’clock and the drivers didn’t come until 4. I sat around in my car for an hour and a half before someone actually called me to explain they’d be there late. Like others have mentioned there’s no contact, especially on the weekends and they created so much stress to the already stressful move. Tried to get some sort of refund from the company and they were totally no help at all. Really really disappointing customer service, go anywhere else. ALSO had them price match another company then on the day I had to pay way more than I was advertised to.

Worse moving experience of my life! Booked for 2pm. Turned up at 7pm (in the mean time my son and I pulled apart the beds and moved everything to the shed). Half filled 2 small trucks and wouldn't unload unless I payed. Only moved half of my furniture. I'm now stuck without a fridge, bed and TV. Wouldn't come back the next day as they were "fully booked". Wouldn't let me speak to anyone and my only contact had the phone turned off. The only calls you get are from blocked numbers. DO NOT USE!!
