I had my makeup applied at 9am and it lasted till 12 midnight, with only a need to apply lipstick. Not only was the makeup perfect but Simply Bella's makeup artist had to wake up bright and early to come and do my hair and makeup for an early ceremony. There is not many times you can just book someone from a website not ever having used them before and actually being blown away by their service and their work. Our wedding was amazing! The makeup artist they sent to me was brilliant however this review is not about them. This company was very difficult to deal with and inconsistent with their replies to my emails. The night before my wedding they called me at 6:30pm to inform me that my hair stylist would not be able to attend as they were stuck across the border. Considering that the border situation has been the same for months I would have expected this person to be replaced or to be informed sooner. They assured me that the makeup artist they were sending could do hair as well as makeup which I accepted as I did not want to stress out on my big weekend. However when the makeup artist arrived on the day she informed me that she doesn't usually do hair and that the styles I had requested were far too complex for her abilities. She did some nice simple styles for us, however one of my bridesmaids hair looked like a tangled birds nest and mine was nothing like what I initially wanted. I emailed the company to discuss my concerns after the wedding but they have failed to return my emails. I definitely wouldn't recommend this company if you don't want to be super stressed/disappointed.
