It is very rare, these days, to find a business that actually delivers what they promise to deliver. Skilled Conveyancing is one such business. My husband and I used Skilled to review the Contract of Sale, Section 32 etc. of a property we were interested in. The review was fast and thorough. When we were successful in buying the property at auction, we used Skilled for the conveyancing for the purchase. They were amazing. They kept us in the loop at all times, documentation was extremely thorough and always timely. They never sat on anything and were always just a phone call or email away. We also used Skilled for the sale of our existing property so, we had two transactions on the go with them at the same time!! We elected to have "same day settlement", which I was very stressed about. Sarah talked me through exactly how it would work and gave me updates as the date drew nearer. On the day of settlement, Skilled finalised our side of the settlement precisely on the agreed settlement time!! It was amazing. We even received a phone call from Skilled director, Dawn, to let us know that everything had been finalised and we were now the proud owners of our new home!! Alas, the conveyancer for the vendor was late on the their settlement by 3.5 hours - and they had had 120 days to process the settlement!!! Anyway, for us, it was a clear example of people doing their job and people not doing their job. I can't recommend Skilled highly enough. They made a very stressful time for us less stressful. I took a punt on using them, having sourced them via the internet only however, it turned out to be one of the best decisions I have made. We can't thank them enough!
