Went here, as found the snooty fox in the entertainment guide book and wanted to have a devionshire tea in the dandenongs. Went on a Sunday arvo the food was delicous and really tasty. The kids meals were all home cooked proper meals and are a decent size meal. No junk kids meals party pies n chips. The soup was very filling and the homemade bread was totally great. The devonshire tea was also very filling, the scones are huge and really tasty and fresh and you could just have the devonshire tea as a meal on its own. Staff very friendly, speedy service.

This is value for money, buy one meal get one free but only during the week. Beautiful fire in the cold weather makes this a lovely cosy restaurant
Approximate cost: $20.00
i wont be surprised if this place is closed down within a year the service was the worst i have experienced ever my meal supposedly was sent to another table and i didnt get my meal until all my table was finished so slow for our garlic pizza to even come out 2 hours in there just for garlic pizza starters and mains. got a complimentary bowl of ships as an apology. my daughters pancake (potato) was dry and not suitable for a child she waited nearly an hour for her meal. Would never go back
Im surprised you had this experience, i went there today having never been before and it was totally the opposite of what you experienced. Maybe they changed owners ?
A great location for quality food and service, with a warm romantic setting when the weather is cool and dreary.
Love the snooty fox! Wonderful on a cold wintery eve.
Nice food and a bonus that during the week you get a main meal free with another main meal purchase. Will go again no worries
very grubby, doors needed a good clean, staff were still putting aprons on after 12.30pm and rushing around getting organized. Need to get enthusiastic new staff
We love going to the Snooty Fox (have been several times). Today the food was reasonably prompt, didn't have to ask twice and got everything as ordered, waiting staff were on-the-ball and helpful even though there were almost no empty tables. My favourite thing about the restaurant is the food - generous helpings, fresh, hot & homestyle, have never had reason to complain about food being less than described. Only suggestion if you're thinking of going would be to *book first* as it can fill up (we're not the only ones who like going there!)
Approximate cost: $15-20
Went for father's day with the whole family and we really enjoyed the meal. The venue is a quaint old home and we thought it was a very homely/cottage like atmosphere. I hope to go back and try their Christmas in July - but have missed it this year. The food was good and there was a reasonable choice.
I went during summer which I think wasn't the best idea as the website has nice views and even snow during winter. The food and cost was average - nothing spectacular.
Approximate cost: $20
“I went there with my Mum this afternoon and I got myself a Tiramisu for $5 so I”…
