Went for lunch, shown straight to seats and not rushed to place an order. Meal portions are generous (entrée size of pasta and seafood meals most adequate) and staff are very friendly, prompt, welcoming and always smiling. Will go back again for the great service and delicious fresh food.

The food is great, especially the risotto, and the pizza is nice.
When ordering, the waiters are patient, but it does take a long time for them to come around to you.
They are very kind but maybe some entertainment in the restaurant would be good, like maybe some music.

bit pricey for a normal meal but if it's a birthday (we usually go here for birthdays) it's not bad given that it's on the waterfront

their pizzas are pretty good though, decent value

staff are fine, food is okay, but it does get busy and too noisy to have a nice, proper conversation without having to raise your voice a bit (lots of families, that's why)

sometimes it gets too cold outside and too hot inside, and it's a bit of a maze to get to their toilets but oh well

Sofia's is gross!!!!! It is loud and noisy and dirty. All the wait staff are rude and dressed inappropietly for work in short skirts ect. I did not recieve one smile when I was there. Their servings are massive and cheap but just think of the quality of what your putting in your body. Not good! I had a vegitraian pizza and got violent food poisening. The kiosk isn't bad if your after some quick deep fried goodness to complete your day at the beach but do not! go in for a meal!!!! terrible service and possable food poisening!. Such a disappointment that there are only 2 resturants on the Frankston forshore and one is such a let down.

Great family restaurant cheap meals and huge servings. It is always crowded and very noisy so not the place to go for a intimate dinner, but great for family or an adult group.

Other Sofia's in Melbourne serve reasonable food. Unfortunately this franchise gives you trough of inedible garbage for a few dollars. Yes its cheep-and nasty. So disappointed one of Frankstons only eateries on the beach is a rubbish as this. I wouldn't go there again if they paid me!!

Approximate cost: $10

It's nice but to small. Most of the time it is very crowded and noisy.
The meals are HUGE. Service is great. It is very filthy/dirty at times.
It is a great place to bring your little children but not a fancy place you would go with your husband/boyfriend ect...

Approximate cost: $26

A place to eat with the family. Food is great and there is always way to much. Staff are helpful. Prices are great too. Great location, right near the beach!

Serving sizes are HUGE! Definitely do not need an entree and a main. Service is quick, but it feels like it is a ship them in and ship them out style. Certainly don't feel like you can sit around and chat. It is also always crowded and noisy. The gelati is fantastic.

The view of Frankston pier is great - and the prices are very reasonable. The service, however, can be very slow sometimes (at peak hours on weekends) - once we had to wait for our meal for 40 minutes!

Approximate cost: $15
