Soma Day Spa

My husband gave me a voucher for the Royal Ritual - 5 hours 15 mins it is supposed to go for. I was back at my car within 4 hours 25 minutes. The girl that did my treatments was lovely - a bit chatty which didn't bother me in the least, but may be an issue for others if you want pure zen.
The actual treatments were nice enough, especially the facial, but I think my time was cut short on the 'deluxe' manicure and pedicure. Lunch was okay - it comes from Parlour wine room, but you sit in a crappy room with zero atmosphere amongst disused equipment, no magazines, a really average environment. I just think for the price $550!! you should walk out of there amazed and very satisfied....I felt ripped off. The place needs a complete refurb if it is to continue advertising as a luxury day spa - and charging for it.
The bathroom facilities are ordinary - not the cleanest, no paper towel or a towel to dry hands.
I would think twice about going here except for some waxing, or basic beauty treatments.
As I mentioned, the girl that was with me was very nice, but the overall atmosphere and service is definitely lacking.

I would definitely not advise SOMA day spa. They're vouchers are only valid for six months and they have no flexibility in this even if you wee pregnant when given the voucher. I would boycott this business as they are certainly not customer orientated and are happy to picket money without providing a service.

I was recently given a gift voucher for Soma which I put towards their Deluxe Manicure, plus the add on hand therapy. It was a beautiful and relaxing environment and the therapist was excellent. Super impressed.
