We stayed at the Sorrento Beach Resort in November 2011 with our 3 year and 2 month old. The location was amazing, walking distance to the Hillarys Marina and right across the road from the beach. Because we were in one of the family apartments, we didn't have waterviews, but some of the smaller apartments did. Resort had a small swimming pool, spa and sauna, which were clean and well maintained. The rooms were generally the same, although looking a little tired. Washing machine and clothes line available in apartment, which is great for travelling with little ones. Unfortunately, there was no way to secure the front door against children opening it from the inside, which our 3 year old did on one occasion - we ended up putting a coffee table against the inside of the door so that she couldn't escape. Otherwise, a very pleasant stay, and reasonably priced compared to other complexes in the area.

I had booked a special deal to stay at this resort for one night for a special occasion.
We visited reception on arrival to be alarmed by the security guy advising three times if there is any problems during the night please call security. This made me very concerned as oviously there had been problems before hand. Who knows what was going to happen our night of stay. "There was a fire evacuation" Overall very dissapointed
