I have been using South Coast Animal Hospital for over 4 years. My 2 Standard Poodles have always been always treated with kindness and respect. Every vet I have seen has been excellent and when it was time for one of them to go to doggy heaven, nothing was rushed and we were all were given plenty of time to say goodbye.
Today, I had to rush my remaining girl, Ruby to them and she was treated promptly and it saved her life.
Dr Wesley was so impressive, very professional and compassionate. Thankyou to all the vet nurses involved for caring for my dog and offering me tissues for my tears.
Would not go anywhere else.

My family has been using this vet since 2012 for our Labrador, Sam. We have always found them to be friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
A few weeks ago Sam unfortunately went through lots of tests, ultimately ending in him being put to sleep to avoid him suffering. The staff were compassionate and sensitive throughout, making a horrendous time more manageable. I would highly recommend them for all pets.

This clinic is just amazing! I was referred to them by another clinic as I was told they have exceptional 'exotic animal' skills. How right they were! The staff there have treated my rabbits, guinnea pigs, birds and lizards with such care and understanding. I have never met any other vets and vet nurses with such a thorough understanding of these small animals. They helped with everything from advising me on the best type of food for them to making some of the hardest decisions Ive ever had to make. I wouldn't take my fur, feather and scale babies anywhere else!!

I would highly recommend the South Coast Animal Hospital to everyone who wants exceptional care for their pets. We recently had to say goodbye to our best friend, (11yr old kelpie), which is the most devastating time for any pet owner! The wonderful and caring staff provided us, and our beautiful girl, with the attention, reassurance and loving touch during the painful three weeks leading up to her passing and for that we are very thankful.

We Still have our little 5yr old Jack Russell and recently introduced a beautiful kelpie x to the family. We will definitely be taking our girls to South Coast as the staffs friendly and professional approach allows us to put all our trust and confidence in the care they provide.

Terrible, if you have small animals please don't go here at all. I was told on the phone that they have knowledge with small animals (mice, rats, rabbits, etc) - they don't. All staff except one nurse had poor customer skills and I waited an hour as they "forgot where I was in line". The vet barely wanted to touch my pet and her first line was "How is the (animal)?". The vet didn't know anything about my pets illness and I had to tell her what meds I needed (including dosage amounts calculated against his weight) and what the illness was - despite it being the most common illness for his species. Even then his meds were given in unsuitable containers, but by that stage I had had enough and could work with it/tranfer the meds at home. They then had the nerve to charge the full consult fee - I should have been the one charging as she helped in no way at all and was purely there to sign off on the medication. If you love your small animal, please don't go here.

We have been going here with both our lovely dogs and always have received fantastic customer service. The vets are all very dedicated and caring in their approach. In particular, Dr. Joshua Dearness is one of our favourite vets. It is a pleasure to take our beloved pets to this vet. We have recommended all our friends to use their service.

Approximate cost: $100.00

Very compassionate and caring people (including not only the vets but the reception staff also). They helped our cat (of 8yrs) when he was quite ill but we had to say goodbye in the end....everyone was so kind in our time of sadness....we now take our newest feline family member to this clinic also. :D :D :D

In an emergency, they not only fitted in my dog to their already busy operating schedule, they were able to do other operations she was due while under the anaesthetic.

Years of excellent personal care with staff who really DO care. I recently also had to farewell my old black (tail-less but queenly) cat friend of 16 years and it was done peacefully with much respect.
If YOU care and love your pet, don't take them anywhere else in the South.
Let Pam, Julie, Fiona, Emma and staff look after you the way they do.
