I've been here a few times for dinner over the past couple of years and been impressed each time. The restaurant has lovely views looking out to the lake on 2 sides with huge windows. There is a small area out on the balcony to eat but the tables there book out very quickly. The place was markedly improved when the restaurant was renovated last year, it now looks much more formal and there is less focus on the bar. Great food, and not a long wait for the meals. There is quite an extensive wine list and the waiter I dealt with was informative and helped me choose a wine that matched my pasta main. Excellent place for a more formal dining occasion.

I came here for a friends wedding where both the ceremony and reception was being held, and had a few drinks beforehand with some friends. This place is fantastic. Right on the water, it is very beautiful and tranquil. The bar staff were friendly and joked around with us, and the seating areas were clean, tidy and had enough room to move around, which I find pretty rare at venues like this. The standard of service was exactly what I expected for a yacht club, and I intend to go back the next time I am in town.
