Female assistant pushed my head on the machine (the one where you look to get the green light. The light changes if you don't have the correct position). Once I moved my head to the position to get the green light, she applied force to keep my head from moving.

When I voiced how uncomfortable I was that she was forcing my head to stay there, she kept doing it every time I had to use the machine over the course of the appointment. She also poked and forced my eyes wide open to be able to take photos. When I told her my eyes weren't able to open wider than they were already, she continued to force my eyes wide open, to the point where I was extremely uncomfortable, and it was starting to hurt. She continued to apply pressure to force my head to stay in the position she wanted, and forced my eyes wide open repeatedly to try to get the photos she wanted. If I didn't have anywhere to be after, she would have kept me there to get the photos "just right".

She also asked me if I "wanted my carer to come into the appointment with me" (she assumed the person with me was my full-time carer. The person was not my carer). Never mind that the person could just be a stranger sitting next to me.

Very unprofessional, and willing to make patients uncomfortable to get photos. Even to the point of assault (which I'm sure it was. It fits the definition). It's traumatised me, and made me afraid to see another ophthalmologist ever again, as it's left a bad taste in my mouth.

Horribly, horribly rude staff! DO not go here! Was yelled at for parking in the disability park because I am young, despite having a severe mobility impairment and a blue disabled pass, and friends to assist me walking.

Friendly Staff and lovely specialist - Dr Mark DalPra, explains everything clearly and doesn't mind those "silly questions". Nice waiting rooms, with TV.
