It's no surprise that they serve philly cheesesteaks at this casual and cool eatery.
The guy behind this venture is apparently Philadelphia born and raised.
As for the serve, you get minute steak, chunky onions and either mild stretchy provolone or an authentic elastic American cheese in buns that are a pretty good take on what I remember from my trip to the states less than half a year ago.
You can have it served up to your preference, whether you fancy the classic – meat, onions and provolone with maybe a few dots of hot sauce for some fire and spice, or may something your adventurous or inventive such as - the Italian which features sweet red peppers.
It isn't quite as cheesy as you might find in the states, but this is Melbourne so the owners are conscious that we might just be a little bit more classy and healthy. Otherwise it's spot on, right down to the roll - a long, soft and glossy white bun, light as a whiff.
Good onion rings too on the menu.
