I decided to get multi focal eyewear this time. I previously had a pair for reading & a pair for long distance. It has taken me no time at all to get use to the multi focal eyewear. The optometrist with the curled up moustache ends definitely know his stuff. [redacted clinical content]

I'd say the only annoyance I have is that the eyewear range don't seem to have many colours & yet on the SpecSavers web pages, there's more colours.

Although it was very expensive to have eyewear with transitional lenses, ultra clear & multi focals, it's cheaper than getting 2 pairs with the all the treatments I need. Luckily I received $150 saving.

It's very important that staff help find the right pair of eyewear for each customer, according to their face shape.

Overall a great store but it would be great to have a budget range for people on welfare payments that need to be budget conscience.

UPDATE
After wearing my multi focal (Ruth-Red) specs for the required adjustment time, I love them. The initial cost is expensive with anti-reflective coating, scratch resistant coating & the multi focal lenses, however, it's the required treatment on any spectacles for proper eyecare. These treatments are needed to have proper vision & aren't unnecessary add-ons is you don't all day computer work. The multi focals are a breeze to get use to. Saves me swapping between long distance & reading glasses, which is so annoying. The best invention for spec users. And excellent service. Did you know if you're on holidays overseas & you have an issues with your specs, you can walk into any SpecSavers worldwide & get service.

The staff are very friendly, helpful & patient at this store. I had to go back the next day after my eye sight test to pay & confirm my order. The card with all my details & the choices of eyewear that the staff member had taken the time to do, was missing from their filing system. I was just as well I was given my eyewear choices & cost to take home because they have floor to ceiling eyewear & I wouldn't have remembered which pairs (2) I selected. While they madly looked for my card, 45 minutes later & 4 people had come & gone in the next service area, I nearly walked out & went somewhere else. Filing customers cards under the correct letter of the alphabet isn't rocket science & the staff member wasn't trained well to deal with the specifications regarding the focal point determination & required constant assistance. At one stage, she was left unassisted so I just hope my order has been completed correctly & that this was just an isolated incident. Generally they are very professional but no this time. Room for improvement & better filing skills required to ensure customer's details don't get misplaced. Efficiency & competency is the key to all businesses running smoothly.
