This place both looks and smells amazing. A phenomenal selection of spices at very reasonable prices and available in both large and small quantities.

You can smell the aroma of spices along the Bank Arcade before you even enter this shop! They have a huge array of herbs and spices (over 250) at prices and amounts which are much better value than what you find in the supermarkets. The staff are very knowledgeable about their stock, so if your recipe book calls for a herb or spice you are unfamiliar with, they are the people to go to. They also stock rice, beans etc., and locally made sauces and mustards which I love. They stock some fresh produce (depending on seasonal availability) such as Tassie grown garlic, lemons, apples and shallots. I also regularly purchase their "salt skip" stock powders which are low on sodium but very tasty.
They have so many different products, that I notice new ones every time I visit the shop.
If you can't afford to travel overseas, take a local shopping trip into Spice World and enjoy the exotic aromas of the spices!!
