Custom curtains fell down after only 2 years!

Made-to-measure curtains from Spotlight lasted barely two years when they fell down. One end of the rail was hung poorly - the mount was too far from the end of the rail - and it came loose, bent then collapsed. Not even the end where the cord is, so no-one had been pulling down on it. So it was just the weight of the lined curtains.

Tried to talk to them about it, but post warranty so "not our fault". Curtains should be manufactured and installed to stay up longer than two years.

If you are in a rush, don't bother. Not only are the staff rude and unhelpful, they are also incredibly slow. On more than two occasions I have found myself standing in a queue of up to 5 people with one staff member working at the check out. After a short glance around it became clear to me that they are both under-staffed and not 'on the ball'. So, if you're in a rush or just want to quickly get a couch pillow (as I did), go somewhere else or don't bother at all because you'll just waste your time waiting to be served by unhappy and rude staff.

Normally a nicely clean and organised store, but the staff are often unwelcoming, to the point of rudeness. The waits are normally long and the store layout is a little awkward.
We travel out of our way to shop at another Spotlight where the staff are nicer.

This showroom is huge filled with all kinds of crafts and homewares etc, goods here are good value for money however I do find the staff unapproachable and keep to themselves at lot of the time.

Fantastic specials. Huge range. Helpful and friendly staff. A top notch store! I can get everything I wand and at great prices in terms of Manchester etc.
