whilst they have had a major revamp they seem to have slipped a bit as thre are now boxes and trolleys laden with goods in the isles making it hard to get to the shelves. SOmetimes the staff can be a little brisk and it makes you not want to ask a question. They do seem to be busy all the time. Pricing is expensive as well

The ladies at spotlight we're very helpful to me, especially having a new born in a capsule! One lady offered me a free trolley so I didn't have to carry the capsule around. I enjoyed looking around Spartys and all the fabric.

The quality of items for sale in store is good there are a range of items to choose from in all their fabric, manchester and craft areas. The service is good. I wish that they would invest in self price checking stations like (Kmart) has so you can check the price of an item before you purchase it. Because not everything has a price on it or on the shelves where the item came from. Value for money it could be better but you pay for what you get quality wise. This store is one of the biggest for this area and has ample parking for customers.

This is a large store but depending on what you are after will determine if you like it or not! I have been here for a few different reasons. Reason no 1-: Looking for material to make clothes. Not the biggest variety. I expected them to have a bit more then what they had and the prices are terrible. You can buy clothes cheaper then you can make them with the price of fabric here.
Reason no 2-: Curtains. Wanted already made. Finding the price for anything was impossible. Finding a matching set was impossible. When I asked a staff member for assistance she basically said to find some-one else cos she didn't want to do it! Reason no 3-: Home ware. I had seen pillows on sale in catalogue so went to get some. Waste of time. The quality of the pillow was shocking. They were not worth the sale price let alone the original price. Ended up getting pillows from Big W! How ever items to dress up the clothing you've made like beads or lace etc are in abundance. Same as stuff for jewellery making! Great selection and not bad prices. Definately a store where each visit will have different emotional response. Some good, some bad!

I always have trouble trying to work out what is on sale in their manchester department it is always very untidy and hard to get through with a pram. But their craft section looks good just hard to find some prices

Large store. Can be hard to negotiate around instore at times due to items being all over the place. Customer waiting times could do with major improvement in all departments. Specials can be super deals once you have VIP membership. Good range of haberdashery and homewares. Just not of a real high quality. Fabric ranges are quite good. Regular sales specials can be rather annoying. Would prefer better in store service levels.

I have to agree with other posters in saying that the time to get served in the fabrics department can be extreme. If it is busy, I take a number before choosing my fabric etc. This makes the wait seem much shorter and can help me to cut my impulse spending too!! LOL

Went to get some material and some beads and beading needles. They had a good range of different materials and beads. They also had a lot of other things that i ended up buying the only thing was that it took a while for me to get served so i have before put my things down and walked out, they need more staff.

The store is large and contains lots of haberdashery and items you would not expect. They have a party section where you can get helium balloons and other items to decorate your party.

Approximate cost: $22.00

Satisfactory on the service. I feel they are always under staffed as you are always waiting for assistants. Value for money though just have to wiat if you really want the product.
