A walk along Sydney's Chinatown made me wonder: It's time for a facelift. The buildings and shops looked so tired & worn out. Undecided where or what to eat, I just walked into Spring River - another Chinese restaurant among many. I ordered Fried Rice with Prawn & Egg. That was basic & should be safe. Indeed it was. Guess I was hoping for some WOW factor but it did not happen.

It was a love-hate experience for me at Haymarket: There were so many eateries to choose. I felt so lost. I walked round & round, finally stopping at Spring River for Chinese food. The beef noodle soup looked good & I ordered one - indeed, it lived up to its look.

I really enjoy having dumplins and pork chops at this place. I always like to try pork chops at chinse place they have best port chops ever. The service is really quick and food looks amazing for the price you pay, definetly worth going back for quick lunch.

very nice place for dumplings in the cbd. i love thier prok n veggie dumplings . we can choose steam or pan fried. they are not too expensive and the service is not bad but not excellet either.

There are lots of great places to get dumplings in this area but this place has fantastic value for the number and quality of the dumplings. They are cooked well and have vegetarian dumplings as well as other menu options. Service is fine and not too overbearing. Will come here again.

Went here for lunch with a few friends and will be definitely coming back. We each had a plate of dumplings and all left totally full and happy. The dumplings were of excellent quality, vegetarian options available. Lots of other yummy looking options on the menu and they didn't mind us bringing in bubble tea from an outside vendor. Service was pretty quick and good.
