One of the few cafes open on Good Friday. We dropped by for brunch and scored a table in the heated courtyard out the back. I love a heated courtyard. Very practical given Melbourne weather. Service was lovely and the waitress very patient whilst we waited for a late arriving friend and took some more time after that before ordering. We were very happy with our drinks and food. Tried the golden chai made with tumeric, which was good interesting. The chilli scrambled eggs were a table favourite, as was the poached salmon poke bowl.
They are owned by the same people as 'Barry' in Northcote, and it shows.
Consistently great food and coffee, with dietary requirements catered for and a menu with a range of dishes that will satisfy the health freaks and decadents combined.
The friendly efficient staff and chic set up are additional comfort.
