Ate my money and didn't do the wash. Gave up waiting for the attendant to come and fix it.

I had one of the bays coin slots take my coins and not register any time on the clock. This was after I tried to exchange a $20 note for some coins and was shortchanged 50c. I called the phone number supplied on the sign in the bay which had been disconnected. I searched on the internet and found a phone number for the Highton Squeekies. I spoke to a man who was fairly rude to me on the phone. He questioned why I would keep putting money in when it wasn't working and eventually told me i needed to go back to the car wash between 9-3 the following day. I advised him I'd be at work and wouldn't be able to make it so he told me to come back on the weekend and that he'd let the attendant know i needed a refund. I went back on the weekend and knocked on the staff room door and was greeted with 'What do you want?'. I told him I'd spoken to someone on the phone and they'd said they'd let them know I was coming in for a refund. That was responded to with a shake of the head and a 'nope'. He gave me 1 car wash token which is to the value of about half of the money I lost and was told to 'have fun' as i was ushered out the door. I'm new to the car wash thing as I'm a recent purchaser of my first brand new car. This business is extremely close to my house and they've just lost two $15 a fortnight customers in me and my partner. We'll gladly travel an extra 10 mins to go elsewhere. We'll also be spreading the word to all our friends.

Great place to wash your car with a range of options including do it yourself and automated. When it comes to the automated you can select from a range of polish options. I've found my car reacts strangely to something in the last polish option (no idea what) so found I need to choose the mid range option. Vacuum machines (with additional scent options) are also available although I found these too expensive. Great to have available
