Amazing caring staff. Nothing was too much trouble. As I struggled to get back on my feet from a robotic lobectomy they provided empathy compadsion medical care and encouragement. At my lowest in the dark hours of the night I was even offered a hug. Staff morale and teamwork and the teaching of tasks is evident. Hats off to the number of enthusuastic young staff and the way they are being trained. And the Xmas decorations were magical and spoke volumes about goals and celebrating happy events.

taken my daughter here a few times for checkups with her specialists ,i have never found parking too much of an issue and can not thank the staff enough for the wonderful job they have done in treating my daughters condition

i see a specialist at this hospital, and he really goes out of his way to make sure im doing ok with my symptoms and checks on me between appts. the wait is usually not long at all for appts as well so thats a great bonus

I recently had a MRI scan at St john of god hospital and the staff were really friendly. The only complaint I have is I was in alot of pain but thats not there fault. Its very hard to find a car park and even harder since they are renovating the front of the hospital.

I've stayed in this hospital on several occasions for different reasons and on the whole the staff have been great but I've had several problems mostly with things like call buzzers not working (NOT good when it's urgent), not getting the right pain medication and not receiving information that would have been useful to have.

That said I know everyone is run off their feet and doing the best they can and do appreciate the staff and services in this hospital. One thing they do provide which is fantastic is a masseur and a wonderful physical therapist which really helped my recovery.

The midwives in maternity are absolutely lovely. They show a great deal of experience in what they do. They are caring and compassionate. They would be there as much or as little as you required. I would highly recommend this hospital to have a baby. As a bonus the hospital food and menu is also great.
