This review is only for the staff. they are very rude , not at all welcoming. and it's not the first time....

Last visit, I was asked to purchase a mask and wear it as i was told it's the policy of the center, which I followed.

However, there were several other ladies who were not wearing any mask and were not even asked and were allowed to visit the doctor room. I find them very selective.
Next time they are going to get my piece of mind surly.

So I went for a check-up at the medical centre and was examined by Dr Saki. She seemed friendly at first but during the check-up was very rude. I wanted to make a medical report but she rudely told me to have come on that day. I know it might be right but I was not a state to go to the doctor on that day and doesn't make sense. How can I go to the doctors on the same day when I couldn't even walk out of the house and she just told me she hadn't seen me that day so she couldn't make any report. Also, the way she talked was not a friendly way to deal with patients. I would suggest no for this doctor.

The GPs are friendly. Best to make an appointment with the GP of your choice, otherwise you might end up waiting 40 mins to an hour at least. Location of the medical centre is good. At least you can go off to Coles, Kmart or the Library while you wait for your turn if you have not already booked an appointment earlier. The receptionist will tell when to return, say 40 mins to an hour for example.

I find the convenience of the medical centre being open 7 days a week and until 7pm Mon- Fri and until 4pm Sat & Sun a very comforting thought as none of the local GP's are quite as obliging. At this medical centre you can see a Dr of your choice and are able to make an appointment to see most of them. If your GP is not available you can always see someone else. One downside is that if you do not have an appointment you may have to wait for some considerable time to see a Dr, but at least there is one there. There is also a physiotherapy service, x-ray (general not specialized x-rays), psychologist and pathology services. The staff are very good and I have seen them many times have to deal with very difficult clients who have been extremely rude - congratulations to the staff for keeping their cool. There is plenty of parking as the centre is located within a shopping centre. There is also a lift for those unable to use the stairs. Medicare covers the cost of seeing the Dr's as well as pathology but the cost of physiotherapy varies.
