After being recommended their services from Luxe Bridal, I took my wedding dress here to be cleaned after my wedding in January, I had a beach wedding so the dress was pretty dirty and I wasn't sure if it would ever look the same again. The staff were very friendly and I could tell they really care about what they do, they thoroughly inspected the dress when I first bought it in and explained everything they would need to do to get it clean then when it was ready they called me in to have a look before they wrapped it up in a preservation box. I was so happy when I saw my dress fully restored that I almost cried, all the marks had gone and it looked just like it had when I first bought it. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and will now be using them for all my dry cleaning in the future.

I have been using Status Dry Cleaning for over 10 years and have always been more than happy with the service, prices are good and they are always happy to go out of their way to pick up and drop off at my home or work. I recently had a white jacket that I spilled red wine on that I thought was completely ruined, Thankfully they were able to return it to me better than new and I am so grateful and only cost $12.50, much less than a replacement

Approximate cost: $12.5

I would never recommend this place to anyone. I had to wait a week and a half and for them to do the job twice and they still managed to stuff it up. They were extremely unprofessional to boot. I needed a dry cleaner's that used petroleum solvent and unfortunately the dry cleaner that I typically use do not offer petroleum solvent dry cleaning. I thought I'd give this place go as they do but I was a bit anxious about it as the dress to be dry cleaned is worth a few hundred dollars. I called to confirm and dropped the dress off, however they seemed quite uncertain as to when it would be finished. They said it would be 2 1/2 days at the earliest (despite saying on their website that same day pick up is available if you drop it off before 11 AM). I came back in 3 days to be sure and when I picked it up it absolutely reeked of cleaning solvents. Unfortunately it was a Saturday and they were shut until Monday so I had to hang it up at home. It smelt so strongly that the entire room soon reeked also, and it lasted for days. The smell made me feel very lightheaded. I called on Monday and they said insisted that they hadn't done anything wrong (I did some research however and apparently the cause would be either dirty filters or a rushed job) but that they would air it again for me. They insisted that after this the smell would be gone. I wasn't able to drop it off until Tuesday however due to being at university all day. When I did drop it off the staff told me that they didn't think it smelt at all.The staff then told me that it did smell but that it didn't smell like their solvents and was a bit condescending in their manner. I know for a fact that it did not have such a smell before they dry cleaned it and I did not appreciate being ridiculed (or having her face and nose rubbed all over the dress). They said that it would take 3 days to pick the dress up. When I did pick it up, the staff was very curt and snippy with me. The dress still smelt a bit and I probably should have asked for a refund, but after all the time and hassle it had caused me (I don't drive so it was very inconvenient to go there and back 3 times) I just wanted to leave. I believe that for the price that I paid (a lot more than most other places charge) I should be able to expect quality service and to not be treated like a burden. Their website says that they have "perfected the use of traditional and modern dry cleaning techniques" which was most definitely not true in this case. The dress was also only polyester which is meant to be an extremely easy garment to clean. Furthermore, the second time I picked the dress up, it had lots of little white marks on it that looked like some type of cleaning solvent. I was able to get most of them off with a damp cloth fortunately. The threads on the dress were a lot looser/fraying too. I believe that I essentially paid to have my dress put into worse condition than it was previously.
