Three of us went for lunch at this restaurant today. Two of us had grilled fish and chips which was acceptable but unremarkable. The other person had pork belly bites with a a greek salad.The pork belly bites were overcooked and the salad could not be described as greek. Two of us ordered melting moments with coffee. The melting moments were stale and tasteless so we returned them and ordered a blueberry muffin instead. This , too, was inedible and hard as a brick. We found out they put the cakes in a fridge overnight.
Coffee was fine and hot. Desserts and coffee were deducted from our bill, thankfully.
Don't go there. You will be disappointed.

We had the most exceptional meal at the steel tree in baldivis last night.
We were served by an excellent young man whose name was Nathan, we were welcomed and were given time to chat and choose our meal without being interrupted.
Please consider this restaurant you won’t be sorry. Thank you

Nice location in Settlers Hills, great ambience for indoor or outdoor dining. Had been there for lunch, coffee & cake and dinner and had great experiences throughout.
Service is generally good and attentive, but food is definietly fantastic.
Very family friendly as well

This is a lovely restaurant, the decor, layout etc is beautiful. I had the crispy chicken breast and thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful, it wasn't dry but was still nicely cooked, some restaurants can really bugger up chicken breast. Not the cheapest, it was about $30-$35 but the quality made it worth the price, it's prob a pretty average price for Perth. They also had a reasonable vego menu so might have to go back to try that out

My husband and I have visited several times now and have really enjoyed ourselves. The atmosphere is lovely and the food is well priced and really nice. The service is great, the staff don't intrude but provide prompt attention when required.

My husband and I both had fish of the day with prawns. The staff were quite accommodating when we asked for vegetables rather than the salad the dish came with. We were seated straight away (with a booking of course). Staff were attentive without being pushy. However, the food we received got most of our raves. The fish and prawns were cooked to perfection. I am fussy when it comes to prawns. You can either undercook or overcook them and I hate it when they are overcooked. These were perfect and the sauce that came with the dish was fantastic.
