Fantastic.
Really classy professional setting.
The food is just as brilliant and precise in cut, cooking and service. Highly recommend for a flawless evening. The hotel it is situated in is lovely. A first class boutique venue

Last week after dining here, I am reminded how much I love a good steak and this place certainly makes sure you don't forget again in a while. Boasting a variety of cuts that are presented on a board (thankfully they've cut it down to a more manageable size for their staff to carry around), it is almost an education in itself on what is available. We tried two different cuts of blade steak that was aged differently and the difference in texture and taste was incredible. The price however reflects that and you should expect to fork out a lot more for the choicest of wagyu cuts. Value of course depends on how much a steaklover are you. But if you've had enough of scotch fillet and just want to try something different, this is the place for you.

Approximate cost: $50

This is such a beautiful place, though the service was a little slow and undesirable our food was very good and considering our bill I was happy. Great menu and extensive selection of various beef cuts, though prepare to dig a little deeper into your pockets!

Steer describes itself as a New York Steakhouse and as you'd expect steak is the specialty but the menu is otherwise quite extensive. The variety of different steaks offered is a bit overwhelming, but to help you choose they bring over a huge wooden slab with at least 10 different types of raw steak on it, and your waiter describes each one. We have been there twice, and I haven't had a better steak anywhere. They also have a selection of beautifully cooked side dishes, and very interesting entrees and non steak choices. In my experience the desserts let them down a bit. Despite the non steak choices it is definitely a place that favors carnivours, and the food falls into the comfort food category-rich and very tasty.
The prices are in the fine dining range, but are justified by the quality of the produce and skill of the kitchen. The ambience is cool and trendy.
