Steve has fantastic attention to detail and we were kept very well informed throughout the process. Steve offered us a very clear run-down of the preparation he suggested for our well-loved but tired 19430’s Californian bungalow exterior.
In a team collaboration between Steve and meticulous heritage carpenter on the project, we had 300 metres of weatherboards replaced in order to repair timber boards from previous insulation installation and wood rot. The building and preparation work in itself is sensational and we are amazed at how much the team achieved on time and in winter! The paining finish looks stunning and Steve demonstrated his experience with heritage homes with the window and gable details which have returned to their rightful place as features of our home. Such a great communicator, we are looking forward to Steve and Elias returning to complete our interior very soon.

Steve painted the exterior of my house in Reservoir. It had been neglected for a while. From the start to the end, he and Ilias were professional and courteous. Steve advised me on my colour choices and explained all the steps to be done to get the best job. He is very knowledgeable in what he does and I value that in a tradesperson. From the prep to the finish, everything was carried out as explained. Professional, extremely clean and tidy and absolutely thorough. Steve has a keen eye for detail. And the finish was amazing. I would highly recommend Steve if you want an amazing professional job.

Steve panted our old terrace house both inside and outside in 2014 and we were extremely satisfied with the care and attention paid to all the repair work on the solid plaster cracks and blemishes. We kept his details in case we needed a Painter in the future. Following the 2 earthquakes we have had, it was time to repair the damage they had caused.
I wholeheartedly agree with the other reviews in that Steve is well organized and that you can rely on the dates he has given you. By giving Steve access to a lockup key box, he and Eli were able to start early without us being up with the birds to let them in. They are quiet workers.
Steve's preparation before painting is painstaking and with his modern equipment, plaster dust is not an issue - I could not believe how dust free the house was. I have no hesitation in recommending Steve if you require a painter to do an excellent job.

I have dealt with many trades in the past but none like Steve, he's courtiers a great communicator letting you know what's going to be done next and there's no surprises every step of the way. his prep work is the best I've ever seen and more importantly they don't leave a mess behind them. if Steve says it's going to take approximately 2 weeks to complete the job give a day or two either end for unforeseen circumstances Steve will be accurate. My only negative point would be (if you can call it negative) is that Steve starts too early in the morning and is always on time, which meant I couldn't sleep in. I have no hesitation in recommend Steve to family or friends.

Steve' quote for the exterior of my Californian bungalow style house was the middle quote, not the cheapest but certainly not the most expensive. But what you get with Steve is a quality job, with very solid preparation and an attention to detail. A painting job that's looks good and is going to last.

This is the second time Steve and Elias have painted our house and the result is outstanding. The prep required this time was less than the last time having spent the time and effort sanding back to boards originally. Steve managed the replacement of a number of rotten weatherboards, replacement of architraves and the repair and restoration of a sash window and French doors. We are thrilled with the results of our exterior paint job by Steve's Painting Services. Our house was long overdue for a paint and we had rotting timbers in places. Steve managed the whole process, including organising an excellent carpenter to fix the underlying issues and working with him throughout. Steve painted the exterior of our 2-storey weatherboard home earlier this year (including all boards and windows, fences, gates, front door and decking). It was a big job and we couldn’t be happier with the quality of his work. He is professional and detailed in his work and was pleasant to have around (which turned out to be more important than we had expected when we booked him as we ended up all at home working/schooling).
